As a port for boats that once traveled down the Yodo-gawa River from Kyoto, Hachikenya-hama used to be a vibrant place. At this venue, fantastical shows will be presented with a blend of illuminations, water and images, using sophisticated technologies. Also, the Morning Markets will enable visitors to experience the allures of the waterfront.

Morning Markets will be held under the theme of “Food,” one of the most attractive features of Osaka. Riverfront Markets will be held at several ports, offering seasonal vegetables and fruits as well as specialty products from across the country.
